I was born and raised in New Orleans and still live in the New Orleans area, across Lake Pontchartrain, on the North Shore of the lake. I received my art education at McCrady School of Fine Art in the French Quarter and have been an artist for over 30 years. My paintings are in collections throughout the United States and abroad. I paint in oil and acrylic on canvas, with emphasis on the vibrancy, color and light of southern Louisiana. As I paint, my mind is filled with the feel of the streets or the taste of our food - the sounds, smells and 'vibrations' of the scene in my painting. I attempt to convey these emotions through my painting. My hope is that as you look at the painting through the years, you not only remember the scene, you still feel it!

I am a member of the St. Tammany Art Association, Art for Madisonville Association, the Arts Council of New Orleans and New Orleans Art Association. Although I have lived in many places in the U.S. and abroad, there is no place I would rather be than here, in south Louisiana, painting my wonderful home town, the outlying swamps and bayous, and its incomparable food!
